The pipes-to-be-joined are inserted into the ftting, which is heated.l Solder fis the small gap between pipe and ftting, sealing and making a strong jaint which is resistant to pulingl and rotation of the pipes. This type of ftting requires that solder wire must be melted and fed into the joint as it isl heated. Copper end feed fttings are sim and neat, inexpensive, and form astrong joint between pipes.
